Our Aims

Welcome to the Arab Lawyers Association (ALA).

 

Founded in 2018 by Ahmed Muen, Barrister at Drystone Chambers and President of the ALA, the ALA is the leading global network for Arab legal professionals. We are dedicated to promoting and advancing the legal profession within the Arab community globally.

As outlined in the ALA's constitution, the objectives of the ALA are as follows:

1. To promote and develop Arab lawyers globally.

 

2. To offer its members professional development, networking, and social opportunities by holding events throughout the year to encourage business.

 

3. To encourage and support aspiring lawyers with networking opportunities, workshops and advice.

 

4. To work with and support organisations that promote justice, equal rights and the rule of law.

 

5. To champion diversity within the legal profession.

6. To maintain a strict policy of non-bias regarding political or religious affiliations.
