Arab Lawyers Association launches at the House of Lords

The Arab Lawyers Association is hosting an event on the 24th January in the House of Lords. Baroness Nicholson will be speaking on "How the legal profession can facilitate CSR outside the EU". 


Baroness Nicholson is Chair of the AMAR Foundation, President of the IBBC ( Iraq Britain Business Council) and Trade envoy to Iraq,Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. 

The ALA is hosting the event alongside the AMAR Foundation, a British NGO that has rebuilt lives in Iraq and the wider Middle East region for the past 26 years.  Founded in 1991, it provides healthcare and education on a sustained and lasting basis for many hundreds of thousands of people every year.

The event will be from 7.00pm - 8.30pm and refreshments will be provided. Tickets are free for the event but we ask all members to donate to the AMAR Foundation (donations can start from £1.00) when registering for the event. A great opportunity to meet other members and network.
